Ben and I were ready to post this hilarious (to us, anyway) story from Jack's point of view about why he's always crying. It had to do with factory lay offs-- you know, the sneaker factory he's been working in let all their third-shift babies go, and he just mopes around the house sewing gym shoes and weeping. Sure, sure, sweat shop humor is touch and go, but we were willing to take a risk until we opened this morning's paper and read that GM is closing a local-ish plant that employs 2600 hourly workers. Suddenly, lay-offs didn't seem very whimsical, you know?
So instead, I have some family pictures-- you know, the ones I was complaining about a few weeks ago? I know everyone has opinions of themselves on film, but these are my personal favorite shots from the day. Note that Jack is currently way bigger, and Harry and I have had haircuts. Enjoy!
that would have been funny--I hate when real life has to be such a buzz kill, right?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! I love the idea of doing pics with both sets of grandparents. You guys all look so great and I totally love Harry's long hair look. And your parents don't seem to age! I swear they look exactly the same as they did when we were in high school.
