Pumpkins Again
Just like last yearand the year before last, we went to our favorite pumpkin patch and set our children on a rickety wagon full of pumpkins to take their pictures.
Only this year, there're 2 of them.
And also, they were wearing matching outfits, but Jack crapped through his moments before we left the house-- that's what he does. Today, we were so freaking on time to leave the house (I even got up at 6 to flat iron my hair and smudge my eyeliner), and when I plucked Jack from the Exersaucer in our way downstairs, I noticed he was covered in prune poop.
Delicious.
Not very many picutres of Harry this time around. He was too busy losing his marbles over a wobbly wheel barrow
to really enjoy himself.
Jack O Lantern, though, was not crying for like 20 minutes in a row-- maybe his record to date.
Poor Harry with the wheelbarrow. It is hard to try and be a big boy when the tools you are using won't cooperate. Glad Jack was in a good mood though!
ReplyDeleteYay for a happy Jack! We are going to do the same thing this week or next week sometime, but I am going to force them to wear fall clothes even though it is in the 80s still. Mwahahaha. Too cute.

ReplyDeleteI found your blog from reading Snickoletts. I am your parents age, and a mom of a 21 and 23 year old! Your stories and pictures bring back so many wonderful and yes stressful memories(LACK OF SLEEP) I just hope my daughter has a life similiar to yours! You remind me so much of my daughter! She is 23 and has a Sociology degree in May and is going to grad school here in Texas. She has a good friend in Wisconsin. Your boys are darling and I love that you look SO GOOD! You are adorable, FUNNY, and its impressive you are getting your PH.D My hubby is a psychologist and I am a counselor/advocate for children with autism. Your blog brings me much joy!
I know you are sleep deprived and anxious rght now but you will get through this(when your boys are in school) JUST KIDDING. MOTHERHOOD is HARD.................but the biggest blessing in my life. Love and big hugs from Texas, Nance
This is a GREAT entry! But poor Harry looks so frustrated! Jack looks happy, though. I think he is going to be so much happier as soon as he can move for himself.
