A ho?
Because we are extra super classy, our kids learn all kinds of rarified turns of phrase. Why, just today Jack stuck his hat hand down my shirt and asked "Boobs?"
"Yes," I told him.
He rubbed his own chest. "Me no me boobs," he said, looking a little worried.
"Well," I told him, "You have nipples."
He patted them. "No boobs," he concluded. Then he brightened, and he stuck his face close to mine. "A ho?" he asked, holding up an index finger.
"No," I told him. "Santa can't bring you boobs for Christmas."
Oh," he said, dejected. "Me no me boobs." He put his hot pink purse on his arm, extracted some dental floss and a Tinker Toy he calls "Key!" and slipped in to his closet.
Nice hats.
and you worry he doesn't talk..he makes himself very clear...Bomma
ReplyDeleteomg, I love it. "A ho" will have me laughing all week.
ReplyDeleteI love this!!!
ReplyDeleteJulia also likes to ask me about my boobs. And everyone else. Every now and then at dinner we have to assure her that, yes, we all have boobs. (all nipples are boobs to her)
Boob talk would be refreshing in this house. It's all penises all the time here.
ReplyDelete"No, Santa can't bring you boobs for Christmas." AWESOME.
OMG dying about Santa bringing boobs!
ReplyDeleteI asked for that for Christmas, too ! I didn't even get the purse Jack has!
ReplyDeleteBoobs! Love it! In our house it's all about the nipples (except Eli calls them "neee-ples") and the penises. There's a LOT of nipple talk now that we live in breastfeeding central.
ReplyDeleteSanta brings people boobs ALL the time for Christmas. But always adults and usually girls.
