Sunday:
37 and rainy you guys. IN APRIL. So, chicken soup, a giant pot that will last a couple of days, with crusty bread, grapes, and chocolate chip cookies. I would link to a soup recipe, but I will likely just throw a bunch of stuff in a pot. **shrugs**
Monday:
Leftovers! With cheese quesadillas in the side because that's even easier than grilled cheese sandwiches.
Tuesday:
Brats on the grill, potato salad (from the deli; I am not a miracle worker; this is a WEEK), veggies and dip
Wednesday:
I have been wanting to make this monstrosity forever, and I think it will go well with dinner-in-shifts thanks to (maybe, if the weather cooperates) baseball: Doritos chicken casserole (yep-- you read that right), chips and guac and pepper strips and salsa on the side.
Thursday:
English muffin pizzas, green beans (I am not home, so ANYTHING GOES), leftover casserole
Friday:
MOVIE NIGHT!!
Saturday:
Pork chops on the grill, couscous and stuffing, peas. Maybe a trip out for ice cream for dessert because it will be a positively balmy 50 degrees.
That casserole looks kind of amazing. I had planned for yummy, cozy foods for a rainy week but now it's sunny and beautiful out, so I don't know what we're going to do. You can't eat chili when it's 65 out!
