Happy 9th Birthday, Dorothy!

 Technically, Dorothy started celebrating on Monday because she didn’t want to go to school on her actual birthday. So, she celebrated early with glorious pattern mixing and Nothing Bundt Cakes cupcakes:

Today, though, was EPIC.

We started with the usual presents and donuts

Then Dorothy and I went to our favorite mall to shop and eat

She picked out some bath bombs and bubble bars

She made a necklace at Kendra Scott

We enjoyed lunch in the sunshine

Dorothy picked out some dresses

We got pedicures at my favorite nail place (which has not raised its prices in 10 years, and I need to make a monthly appointment)

Then, Dorothy shocked me by telling me she wanted to get her ears pierced again!

As long as we were at the mall, we bought her helmet, glove, bat and cleats for softball. ALL PINK, BTW

We ran home to grab her dance bag and head to her last team practice before her very first competition

And we closed out the day with waffles, ice cream cake, and matching doll/girl jammies

A perfect day!
