1. Perfect latte art to kick off my Monday. Also, this was from the coffee shop by my office, and the barista was very bro-y, so it was an especially nice surprise.
2. After swim lessons, Minnie really wanted a cupcake, and I really wanted to grab a loaf of sourdough bread to dry out for stuffing, so we went to HyVee. Since I was driving Ben’s car (not for realz, just because it was behind mine), I let her have it on the way home (MOTY), and I looked back to find her cupcake in her cup(cake) holder.
3. I like to forget that I am a loyal Kroger shopper and then all of the sudden remember and use my fuel perks points to get gas for .99/gallon. SIX FAIRLIFE CHOCOLATE MILKS A WEEK, BABY.
4. Chrismukkah has come to Dorothy’s dollhouse, and I am here for it.
5. Harry also has a 7-foot tree in his room. WE ARE A LOT. (Also, Coop and Jack have LED lights dripping off their ceiling PLUS Christmas lights all over the walls— very dorm chic).
Dorm chic sounds PERFECT when it relates to Christmas decor. I don't think there is such a thing as too many twinkly lights.
ReplyDeleteAnd D's dollhouse is ADORABLE! All the teeny tiny Christmas decorations.
That latte looks both delicious and beautiful.
You are right-- no such thing as too many twinkly lights
DeleteCup holders doubling as cupcake holders - genuis. That doll house is epic. It looks gi-normous, unless the camera angle is just adding inches, as camera are known to do. So cool though. Christmas trees and lights AND holiday bedding? You guys are living right.
ReplyDeleteit's taller than I am-- but I am very short LOL
DeleteEvery vehicle needs designated cupcake holders! Love Minnie's resourcefulness!
ReplyDeletekind of sticky though
DeleteLove all of these little glimpses! A cupcake holder is genius! and hooray for grocery stores that award deals on gas! We used to have a grocery store that did that, but they've altered their program and now the most you can get is like $1 off a tank. Boo.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very retro gas price.
Delete99 cents a GALLON? What year is this, 1986? Sigh. Our grocery rewards only allows a max of $1 off a gallon, which is still great, but not THAT great.
ReplyDeleteSoooooo retro
DeleteI am here for kids decorating their rooms for Christmas this year. As evidenced by the pink artificial (obvs) tree I just ordered for Sydney
ReplyDeleteoooooooh-- I want a pink tree!!
DeleteFirst, that is obviously what cup holders were made for! Second, that 1990 gas price - I just stared at it in confusion thinking there must be a mistake or a time warp or something till I read your explanation. Third, my daughter just decorated her Barbie and doll houses for Christmas too and it is the best!!
ReplyDeleteDeocrated dollhouses are adorable-- why haven't we been doing this for years??
DeleteOh yes, 7 foot Christmas trees in the kids bedroom- I approve! I'd like to see a photo of Coop and Jack's room.
ReplyDeleteI would say your "mundane" week looks pretty fun!
I can't wait to see what they all do with ornaments
DeleteThis is Lisa. Omg. A cupcake in the car! You are MOTY. But if the car is already a dumpster fire, how much worse can it get? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love all the Christmas decor!!!!
EXACTLY my thought re: the car
DeleteTwinkle lights FTW! I also love the coffee art and 0.99/gal gas is like an early Christmas present ;)
ReplyDeleteIt really was like a gift!
DeleteCupcake holder! Genius idea by Minnie.
ReplyDeleteI cannot get over that adorable dollhouse with all the tiny holiday decorations. Too cute!!
Hey, it wasn't YOUR car. Maybe it prompted a cleanup? Or... not? :) (I confess, I was super-confused about the dollhouse comment then realized I'd paged right past the pics... LOL.)
