1. Did you think I was done talking about dance? HA! Here are some pro pics from last weekend, and Dorothy has another competition TODAY!
2. Dorothy and Cooper babysat Minnie on her school playground while I had a conference with her teacher, and it was 30 degrees and snowy and neither of them wore a coat because middle schoolers think coats are for losers, apparently. WHAT IS EVEN WRONG WITH THEM? And then I bought them Starbs because obvi.
3. These are good but also weird (Costco find)4. This book is as good as everyone says-- maybe better
5. Annabel is a vicious killer
Poor Cheer Bear!
ReplyDeleteI put that book on hold, I'll report back.
Ha ha, Annabel. She's not a killer- she just likes to maim, apparently.
ReplyDeleteI love the dance pics. It's so different from what I'm used to. I was an awkward, klutzy kid who secretly envied girls like Dorothy. My daughter definitely follows in my footsteps. It's fun to see what life is like for the "cool kids."
I don't know why kids WANT to be cold. My daughter has gone to school when it's 50 degrees in a crop top. Sigh...
I can literally not do a Zumba video (I don't think I know anyone less coordinated than me when it comes to body movement), so I am in awe that Dorothy can remember the moves to so many different dances!
ReplyDeleteI live cold, but my daughter runs hot. She genuinely just rarely gets cold. I think it's a superpower. Like I ill be bundled up and reach out to grab her BARE HAND outside in the freezing cold and I'll be a few minutes from hypothermia and her hands will still be warm. HOW? I want this ability!
Dorothy’s dance photos are so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat IS IT with middle schoolers and the No Coats?!?!
Thanks for the rec, I'm going to have to check out that book. I love D's dance photos! She looks like she's having SO MUCH FUN.
ReplyDeleteI love the dance photos. Dorothy is in her ELEMENT!
