WE did it!! By WE I mean BEN who painted, laid laminate planks, and assembled the bed and vanity ALL BY HIMSELF. (Coop put together an IKEA book shelf).
Ok! First up, Dorothy's room.
Here is the before:
And here's the after!!!!
All the new stuff in Dorothy's room meant that Minnie got a glow up, losing her toddler bed and Newton crib mattress (LOL FINALLY) and gaining some cool stuff
Old Minnie room:
(Can you even with tiny Annabel??)
NEW MINNIE ROOM!!
I love both of them so much, and so do the girls
Next up: we make our storage room into a 6th bedroom/den, and the boys all shuffle-- stay tuned!!
Wow, the rooms look fantastic! What a great change!
ReplyDeleteBoth of their rooms look great! You put so much work into it.
ReplyDeleteOmg, Dorothy's room is such a shift in maturity. And Minnie is the best model. Room makeovers are so much fun.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I remember asking my parents if I could re-do my room and they were like uhh, you can go move your furniture around if you want lol.
ReplyDeleteEeeks! This is SO fun. A change feels amazing, right? And both rooms look fantastic. It's so fun for Dorothy to settle into a more "mature" space, too. And win-win that Minnie ended up being able to age up to some hand-me-downs from Dorothy's room.
ReplyDeleteI could seriously look at pictures of room makeovers for an entire day. *checks daytimer for available day in the near future*
I love room makeover reveals... and these were fun! Dorothy's room change feels radical!
ReplyDeleteOK, wait...a needlepoint 'Crush the Patriarchy' sign? I LOVE YOU. That is all.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I remember when we did a big makeover of Asher’s room a few years ago when he was approaching teen years and it was such a big change! So fun. Also glad it’s not something we have to do frequently. ;)
